Tech East 100 is a new initiative which aims to shine a spotlight on some of the leading-edge tech businesses located in Norfolk and Suffolk and support their growth ambitions.
The programme is led by Tech East and backed by Suffolk and Norfolk local authorities, New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and BT alongside an impressive list of local sponsors.
“We’re delighted to be listed as one of the Tech East 100. The tech community in the East of England is thriving despite current circumstances, and it’s great to be part of a vibrant, innovative ecosystem” Chris Pont, CEO, IJYI
TechEast ran a virtual event to announce the winners. Attendees were treated to a fantastic line-up of keynote speakers including Stephen Fry, Caroline Dinenage, MP and Professor Tim Whitely of BT.
Everyone was delighted to see Stephen Fry sharing his thoughts on the tech sector in our region. He shared some inspiring words “We are a secret garden and the world is welcome to join us. We are the geeks who are changing the world for the better”
Caroline Dinenage, MP spoke about what a supportive and collaborative tech ecosystem we have here in the East of England. She went on to talk about how tech companies in our region have enabled digitisation for so many sectors which has had significant benefits during the recent lockdown.
